    Position Overview:
    The Distribution Associate is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments. Work to achieve company performance goals related to shipment accuracy and timeliness.



    • Receives and inspects external packaging of all incoming shipments. Notifies delivery personnel of any apparent shipping damage and proceeds accordingly
    • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
    • Efficient processing of material receipts for timely distribution to other departments and inventory of production items
    • Unloads or loads materials onto or off pallets, skids or other lifting devices
    • Manage and organize all staged orders
    • Maintains equipment and storage areas as prescribed in a neat and clean manner to meet housekeeping standards
    • Performs all duties in a safe manner and complies with all corporate and government safety guidelines
    • Perform other projects and assignments as required



    Required Knowledge and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Two to four years of relevant experience
    • Demonstrated ability to operator a forklift
    • Ability to work unsupervised on procedural job requirements
    • Good customer service and communication skills
    • Well organized with some experience in stockroom or warehouse space utilization
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and react appropriately to changing priorities and impending deadlines

               Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

    • Requires the physical ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
    • General warehouse environment.
    • Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
