Responsibilities

The Commissions Coordinator will support the VP of Operations with reporting and tracking of Sales Commissions data and metrics on behalf of the entire Sales organization. 

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the monthly preparation and reporting of commission reports and analytical data as it pertains to Sales Commissions.
  • Create and analyze spreadsheets and internal database reports to gather data/metrics for commission calculation and/or analysis. Contribute to the development or improvement of existing systems to effectively track or capture data.
  • Maintain and prepare complex and accurate monthly reports, while investigating and resolving any discrepancies on commission calculations.
  • Analyze and present on sales performance results and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support internal activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive plans, policies and quotas.
  • May assist in performing special projects to model alternative commission/incentive plan design or calculations.
  • Prioritize job duties appropriately to meet strict deadlines.
  • Work independently within defined policies and procedures to achieve or exceed job duty expectations.
  • Interact tactfully and courteously with all Internal customers.

 

 

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience in an Accounting, preferable within a Sales organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience required, with a general understanding of Accounting processes and methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level). Strong knowedge of Pivot tables required.
  • Proficiency using ERP systems or other databases to gather information in order to generate accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and follow through with accuracy on objectives while meeting strict deadlines.
