Responsibilities

NWN seeks an accomplished Partner Development Director to lead the strategic management and optimization of our partnership investment portfolio. This role will oversee the comprehensive administration of Market Development Funds (MDF), volume rebates, and co-investment programs across NWN's extensive partner ecosystem, ensuring maximum ROI while driving accelerated growth toward our pipeline target.

 

This role demands exceptional financial stewardship, analytical rigor, and strategic partnership acumen to manage multi-million-dollar funding commitments that support NWN's position as North America's leading AI-powered technology provider serving clients across public and private sectors.

 

Strategic Accountabilities

Partnership Investment Portfolio Management

Oversee comprehensive management of partner funding programs including MDF allocations, volume-based rebate structures, and strategic co-investment initiatives. Develop sophisticated financial models that optimize investment allocation across NWN's technology partner ecosystem while ensuring compliance with partnership agreements and maximizing return on partnership investments.

Performance Analytics & ROI Optimization

Establish robust measurement frameworks for tracking partner funding effectiveness across revenue acceleration, market penetration, and customer acquisition metrics. Implement advanced analytics systems that provide actionable insights into MDF campaign performance, rebate program efficiency, and co-investment returns, enabling data-driven optimization of partnership investment strategies.

Program Development & Strategic Alignment

Design and implement scalable funding program architectures that align with NWN's AI-powered service portfolio and Experience Management Platform (EMP) growth objectives. Collaborate with the Alliances Team to structure innovative funding mechanisms that drive mutual value creation while supporting NWN's trajectory toward industry leadership.

Financial Governance & Compliance

Maintain rigorous financial controls and audit-ready documentation for all partner funding activities. Establish transparent reporting mechanisms that provide executive leadership and partner organizations with comprehensive visibility into program performance, budget utilization, and strategic impact across NWN's diverse technology partnerships.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partner Relations

Serve as primary liaison with key technology partners regarding funding negotiations, program optimization, and strategic investment planning. Cultivate cross-functional executive-level relationships that enhance partnership value while ensuring optimal utilization of available funding resources across AWS, Cisco, HPE, Microsoft, and other strategic technology alliances.

 

Qualifications

Education & Professional Credentials

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or 10+ years of experience in partnership funding. Master's degree preferred. Professional certifications in financial analysis, partnership management, or technology sector specialization strongly valued.

 

Professional Experience

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in partnership funding, channel investment management, or strategic alliance finance within technology or managed services environments. Demonstrated success managing $20+ million in annual partnership funding portfolios with proven track record of ROI optimization and program performance enhancement.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/technology sector partnership funding models
  • Background in managed services or enterprise technology channel programs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with all Business Units across the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and partnership analytics platforms
  • Demonstrated success with high-growth technology company funding optimization
  • Track record of innovative funding program development and strategic partnership enhancement
